Today we welcome Joseph Arthur back to the lounge for a session with his new band, The Lonely Astronauts. Joseph has visited us before, playing a session back in 2004. Joseph and his new band just released the first of two albums spawned from some marathon recording sessions, titled, Let’s Just Be. The album has more than 80 minutes of music and even boasts a 20 minute song! For the new album Arthur has employed a “back to basics” feel with the recording and the sound has a heavy Rolling Stones influence throughout, especially the first single, “Diamond Ring.”

We are looking forward to Joseph’s return to the lounge today, be sure to listen in at around 3pm EST to check out the session.
