Introducing - The Aliens - Astronomy For Dogs
“Introducing” focuses on something just added to the WOXY.com playlist that is not only new to our playlist, but new to WOXY.com in general. Today the spotlight is on the new album from The Aliens, titled, Astronomy For Dogs.
- Debut full-length from trio of former Beta Band members: Gordon Anderson, John Maclean, and Robin Jones. They formed following The Beta Band split in 2005.
- Anderson was an original Beta Band member who dropped out due to health reason prior to participating in any recording. He is credited with co-writing some of their earliest tunes, including “Dry The Rain”. He eventually released two solo albums under the moniker Lone Pigeon.
- Astronomy For Dogs was released overseas in March, and is scheduled to hit stores in the US on June 19th.
