Would love to see the Chicago show Sunday. I’m kind of grateful for the contest, as the new Pela disc is one of the few things I’ve been able to listen to since my laptop has been acting up the past two weeks. Calvary is my favorite among several standout tracks.

I haven’t heard a ton o’ Pela, but I do like Lost to the Lonesome quite a bit. Other stuff I like? Free tix to good shows in Minneapolis!

I honestly don’t have a favorite Pela song.
The thing that sticks out most to me was the story of the name from one of the lounge acts. One of the guys (??) went to school with a girl named Pilar, but he thought it was Pela.
I’d love to go the Minneapolis show. The 400 is a great small venue. I’ve seen Ted Leo with Dismember Plan (RIP), Interpol and Crooked Fingers there. My wife still talks about the Crooked Fingers show four years later.

i’m new to the woxy.com scene but i enjoy it all day while i’m at work.
I’m broadening my horizons for new music and would love to see Pela in person (Omaha, NE) to get a great experience.
From what i’ve heard from Pela- i love ‘em!

Outstanding show. The band really kicked ass live and were really cool gents and big fans of the station to boot. If you haven’t already, sign up for the contest.
Thanks a bunch, Joe, Mike and Shiv.
