The thing that sticks out most to me was the story of the name from one of the lounge acts. One of the guys (??) went to school with a girl named Pilar, but he thought it was Pela. I'd love to go the Minneapolis show. The 400 is a great small venue. I've seen Ted Leo with Dismember Plan (RIP), Interpol and Crooked Fingers there. My wife still talks about the Crooked Fingers show four years later. I honestly don’t have a favorite Pela song.
