Very nice Pictures Joe! Dig those crazy colors.
When I grow up, I want to take pictures as nice as yours! ;>

I second that. Great photos!
The National played an amazing set last night back here in Cincy. The “hometown” energy and pride was definitely present in the crowd (maybe because all of their extended families were there - Berninger’s mom was front and center having the time of her life!).
I was amazed that they were able to make just about every song sound better live than the studio version. Shows a lot of maturity and talent.
The National just might be the coolest band in America. Keep the reports a’ coming!

The National’s live show at 20th Century Theater last night was amazing. Definitely one of the best live acts around right now, and J-Love is spot-on: the energy was amazing and the tracks were even better live - a hard thing to do given the complete quality of Boxer, the best album of 2007.

unless, of course, The National release another album this year.

One of my personal highlight sets… I drug two friends that had mediocre to negative feelings about the band, and they both said it was in their top few sets of the entire weekend as well… Squalor Victoria was out of this world… One of the best bands going right now, hands down!
