I’ve never seen TFL live before, but even so, this looks exactly how I’d have imagined it. Perfect.
Joe, you take great shots. What’s your photo rig?

Thanks man! I used the stations camera, same one used for our Lounge Acts. It is a Canon Rebel XTI with a 50 MM lens. The lens makes things easy…

Gotcha. What’s the aperture on that 50mm - 1.4/1.8? You seem to have good exposure in dark sets too, so I figured it must be pretty fast. Do you shoot JPEG/RAW and what kind of post-processing do you do, if any?
I use a Nikon D70, usually with a 60mm f/2.8 lens. Not super-fast but doable usually, unless it’s pitch black. My concert pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sprocket87/collections/72157600000250888/

Oh dude, I am sooo not a pro. Your shots are great btw. As for the AV settings, Bryan Jay is the wiz with this camera. I got a lesson or two from him and mostly just get lucky…. I shoot JPEG at these types of things, so I can get more shots. I also put the ISO up pretty high at night, like on 800, to catch things right.

Gotcha - that’s great, they look awesome which is what’s important. I’m by no means a pro either; it’s just a hobby for me.
Anyway, looking forward to more :)
