Bonnaroo Day 1 In the Trenches
So, maybe we aren’t in the trenches, but the people in tent city are. The trenches I am referring to though are the ones in the media area. We had a great day talking to some of our favorite bands already today, and have video footage of the interviews to bring you as well.
Today, we talked with our friends from The National, and also sat down with Dr. Dog and The Black Angels. A pretty productive day considering the interviews did not begin until after 5pm. Last night The National also played a great set that I took in, pictures from that to follow very soon as well. The ‘roo’ is really just getting started, loads more to follow here on The Futurist!
So, check back with us as we continue to give you the inside scoop from backstage here at Bonnaroo 2007.
In the meantime, check out some other bloggers on site covering the festival….
Also, if you are a Twitter fan, I will be doing my best to put on the spot updates over her as well……
Checking in from Bonnaroo
Hey guys, Joe checking in from Bonnaroo here on the official day #1. We arrived yesterday with the Lala.com crew and have been getting adjusted ever since. It’s hot and humid down here in Tennessee of course, with no signs of it letting up. I am betting this place becomes one huge dry dust cloud before the weekend is out.
Check back in tonight as we should have a variety of things to bring you. Interviews begin later this afternoon, and I will also be dropping in occasionally via the streaming audio feature that our friends in Pela have been using on the road as well.
Talk to you soon!
