Lounge Act Recap - The Whigs
A trio of road warriors from Athens, GA, The Whigs made their debut in the Lounge shortly after the release of their 2nd album “Mission Control.”
Even though lead singer Parker Gispert was a little under the weather, the band rocked their way through a set that includes three cuts from the new album and closes with something from their debut “Give ‘Em All A Fat Lip.”
In the interview, they talk to Shiv about recording the new cd with producer Rob Schnapf, the inspiration behind the album’s artwork, why vinyl sounds better and their relentless touring schedule.
